Septic System Installation and Replacement in Florida

Septic system installation in Florida needs a written scope that goes beyond the tank. Ask a prospective installer to identify the proposed system, the work included and the steps that must happen before construction starts. Replacement quotes should also explain what happens to the existing equipment.

Compare responsibility for the design, applications, excavation, electrical work and final restoration. If those items sit outside the quoted price, find out who arranges them. A cheaper total can reflect a smaller scope rather than a better deal. Request the equipment details and the written warranty, including exclusions and the contact for later problems.

The companies below handle installation or replacement. Confirm which work they undertake at your address, who will be responsible for the project and which documents you receive when it is complete. For property-specific permitting questions, use the Florida Onsite Sewage Program and the office responsible for your county.
